Busy Days ahead!!!

Where did February go?  I can't believe that March is just around the corner bringing conferences, melting snow, and SPRING.......   There are a few things happening this week that I want to share with you:

Monday, February 27 -   Character Counts Assembly ~  Well known speaker Fax Gilbert will be speaking to Storm Lake Elementary students at 2:15 on Feb. 27.   Students are encouraged to wear their special color for the day.  2nd graders -- remember to wear GREEN!!  :)

Tuesday, February 28 -  The Star Lab is coming.... The Star Lab is coming....  Katie VanDerLinden, the BV County Naturalist will be bringing the Star Lab to Storm Lake Elementary.  Students will get to go in, and experience the 'nighttime sky'.   Will we see any shooting stars?

A super achiever is announced every Friday.  This student is someone who shows great character, is a hard worker, and shows great responsibility.  Who will it be this week?
